Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bloom ("Bloom", "the app"), provided by Appvior ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using Bloom, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Bloom is a personal journaling app that lets you capture voice, text, photos, and moods, optionally enhanced with AI reflections and insights. After onboarding, Bloom creates an anonymous account so your trial, purchases, and journal can sync — without collecting your name, email, or other personal sign-in details. Linking Apple or Google later is optional and helps you restore the same account on a new device.

New users receive 7 days of full Premium access at no charge and without adding a payment method. When that period ends, you may subscribe to Premium or continue with limited Basic access (as described in the app). Premium unlocks unlimited reflections, Ask your diary, mood timeline insights, and related AI features.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to consent to these Terms in your jurisdiction and, where required, have permission from a parent or guardian. Bloom is not intended for children under 13.

3. Accounts

Bloom uses an anonymous account by default so you can use the app, start your free trial, and purchase Premium without registering with Apple or Google. You may optionally link Apple or Google from Settings to sync and restore your journal across devices. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you link a sign-in provider, keep those credentials secure and notify us of unauthorized use. Signing out of an anonymous account deletes that account (to prevent trial abuse); linked accounts can sign out without deleting unless you choose Delete account.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in Bloom. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service — including transcription, sync, backup, and AI features you request.

You agree not to upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content. Bloom is for private personal use; you are responsible for what you record and store.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Some Bloom features require a paid subscription ("Premium"). Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, and managed through RevenueCat. Prices, trial length, and billing periods are shown in the app before purchase.

• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Billing. Your account is charged at confirmation of purchase and upon each renewal. App Store subscription offers, if any, are shown in the app before purchase.
• Manage or cancel. On iOS, open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or visit Apple subscription management. On Android, use Google Play subscription settings.
• Restore purchases. Use "Restore purchases" in Bloom if you reinstall the app or switch devices.
• Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.

6. AI features

AI reflections and insights are provided for personal journaling only. Bloom does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice. Do not rely on AI output for emergencies or health decisions. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its APIs.
• Circumvent subscription or access controls.
• Use Bloom to violate law or third-party rights.
• Interfere with security or availability of the service.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using Bloom, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

Bloom, its branding, software, and design are owned by Appvior or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or brand assets.

10. Disclaimers

BLOOM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APPVIOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF BLOOM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

12. Termination

You may stop using Bloom at any time. You can delete your account and related data from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by nature should survive will survive termination.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
